    Rules

    1.      3 Man Teams allowed/preferred
    2.      Members of Team cannot sub for missing player of another team
    3.      Match Play. Low handicap player from each team play each other. If both teammates handicap are equal,, the player index will be used to determine the lower handicap. If indexes are equal, then the team will select who is the low handicap player prior to the match.
    4.      6 point bonus for Team Low Net.  For each match, the team with the lowest net score will earn 6 extra points, 3 points for a tie.
    5.      We play a modified winter rules, 6-8 inch nudge through the green, no lift/clean, no closer to the hole/pin
    6.      6 point bonus and no shows or 2 vs. 1.  For matches that have one missing player, the team with the missing player cannot win the 6 points if their net score is lower than the 2 person team.  The single player will be awarded 3 bonus point, if they earn it!
    7.      IT IS THE PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO FIND A SUB IF HE OR SHE CANNOT PLAY.
    8.      Some folks would like to post their scores to the SCGA system, therefore, all USGA rules apply for stroke play.  The league is based on a modified Match Play game.  The 6 Bonus Points for the team low net is the modification.  This requires all player to finish the hole (in the cup).  A hole can not be conceded.
    9.      The winner of the first half will play the second half winner for the league championship (bragging rights!), typically on Week 19.  The championship will be played while the rest of the "hackers" will be playing a 3-club game or a game predetermined by the league coordinator.  The championship can be a 9 or 18 hole match, whichever the contenders agree upon.
    10.    There is a $30 per team fee, to cover the prizes for CTP, LD, LN and TLN. $3 for each is paid after the scoring is completed (typically be the following week)

    11. Card Matches must be 2 vs 2, therefore the week where both teams are at "full strength" will be the scores used to settle the match.

  • 12. You cannot request a Card Match if you are going to show up to play in the week you were originally scheduled. Just because you are alone (without a partner) doesn't mean you can blow off the match. You have to play a 2 vs. 1 match or get a partner/sub.

    13. *The person or group that brings the refreshment cooler will tee first. (this is the most important rule!!!)

    14. Card matches must be settled within 3 weeks. If the week after the selected Card Match match is not represented by a full team, the short team may request another week before settling the CM when his team is full.

    15. AND, the most important rule, HAVE FUN!
